Madwoman Foods Bakeshop in Minneapolis, MN, is closing on Sept 30th.   
We have found it difficult to compete with the growing inventory of  
gluten-free products from the larger companies that are now being  
found in grocery stores.  When you niche goes mainstream, you lose  
your niche.  Seeing more gluten-free foods in stores is good for all  
of us with Celiac Disease but there is a price to pay.  That price is  
the loss of the independent gf bakeries.  Madwoman was established in  
2003 and we had a great run.  We met some wonderful people and  
learned tons during this business period.
