I was asking if I could substitute regular milk for buttermilk in a cake
recipe.
2 people said to buy buttermilk it will taste better but if not I coudl add
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice or vinegar and let sit 5-10 minutes.
Many people said:
I put about 1 tablespoon of vinegar in a liquid measuring cup, then fill it
up with milk to make a cup. Let it sit for a few minutes and it will
thicken a little. You can also use lemon juice instead of vinegar if you
prefer. Hope that helps!
