I will summarize advice from home testing kit users.
1. They are expensive
2. Unless you are able to test every nook and cranny of the sample used, you may or may not detect the gluten in it.
3. They are not yet user friendly enough to use.
4. Persons have tested "gluten free" food and found gluten
Overall, no one that has used the home testing kits are very satisfied with the results and hope there will be a more user friendly, cost effective method produced in the future.
