Peter,

You're absolutely right!  We looked at the Permobil first and then my wife
thought to look for the Levo.  It has a much smaller "footprint" than the
Permobil, so the Levo is definitely our "chair of choice."  The Levo's
"footprint" is 3/4" longer and 1" wider than my present chair.  The Permobil
is 4" longer and 2" wider.  The fact that the Permobil couldnt do a 1.5"
threshold was the first thing that made us take another look.
