I wrote to Starbucks to complain about discontinuing there gluten-free
snack. I suggested that if it didn't sell, that maybe they could explore
the possibility of a different gluten-free snack. Maybe something
chocolate. Below is there response to me. Sidona

Hello Sidona,
I would first like to apologize for my delay in getting back to you. I truly
appreciate your patience.
I appreciate you taking the time to write to us about the gluten-free
Valencia Orange Cake; I'm sorry to say that it is true that it has been
discontinued.
Although we do continue to receive a number of customer requests for more
gluten-free products in our stores, our customers also have provided
feedback that unfortunately the cake was not ideal solution. Like you they
thought the cake was delicious, but not necessarily something they could eat
anytime of the day. We will continue to explore options that will meet the
needs of gluten-sensitive customers.
An exciting development is that we now offer gluten-free KIND Bars, which
are a great grab-and-go snack for our gluten-sensitive customers. We are
continuing to adjust the food that we offer to meet our customer's needs. I
hope you'll try one of the KIND Bars as they are quite tasty and I think
you'll enjoy it.
I apologize for any frustration this has caused, and will share your
disappointment with our food and beverage team to let them know that you
would like to see the Orange Valencia Cake return to the stores.
Thank you again,
Reina N.
