hello all,



i saw the post this morning that included the GF List from Prego and i was confused to find the "Traditional" Sauce listed as i contacted Prego yesterday morning TWICE and was told that this item was not considered gluten free.




to get to the bottom of this, i called Prego this morning, spoke to someone named Edith and was told, believe it or not -- that their GF list was updated yesterday afternoon!  apparently, what's been going on is this -- 




in an attempt to comply with some new guidelines that came out in October about whether an item can be considered gluten free, Prego went through their GF List and removed any item about which they had any doubt whatsoever.  as they've completed their tests on the various products and confirmed their gluten free status, the company has added them BACK onto the GF List.  so, there are some items that have not been on the GF List for the last few months that are NOW back on the list. 




The current list of GLUTEN FREE PREGO SAUCES, confirmed via telephone this morning, is as follows:




Fresh Mushroom

Organic Mushroom

Organic Tomato Basil

Traditional

Three Cheese

Heart Smart Onion & Garlic

Heart Smart Ricotta Parmesan

Heart Smart Mushroom

Heart Smart Traditional
