It appears Heartland Finest, supplier of bean flours, has "closed its
doors" according to its website. We tried to fax an order and
discovered the number had been disconnected. This is very sad news
for those of us using bean flours in our recipes. Does anyone know
of another company that makes navy and pinto bean flour?

We've been having all sorts of trouble with our suppliers going out
of business. We're also in search of tart cherries if anyone knows
of a source for frozen tart cherries (organic if possible), please
let me know.

Making gluten-free foods is becoming more of a challenge with the
smaller alternative ingredient suppliers having trouble with
survival. Make sure you support the smaller businesses or we will
soon be left with only big corporations running our food chain and
making the rules of what they consider to be gluten-free.
