Thanks to everyone who responded and wrote in about their favorite brands
etc.! Most people agreed that the pure vanilla extract is fine as long as it
is the pure kind. Some people said they would only use it if it said gluten
free on  the bottle. After all of the responses, we bought the pure vanilla
extract at  Costco, for two reasons, 1. I like that it says gluten free and
like to reward  companies that make my shopping easier by purchasing from
them. and 2. Because  it was a very large bottle for only about $5 and
change. Thanks everyone!
