At one of my jobs, they lay out food for us. The only thing there that's safe for me is Miss Vicky's potato chips. From time to time I get a gluten reaction when I eat them (not always, but sometimes). They are on the Frito-Lays "safe" list and I know that it says on the package that they're not manufactured on a line that handles wheat.

The other day they switched-out the Miss Vicky's chips with another kind of Lays chips and, reading the label I saw that those were made with Barley Malt.

Now I'm wondering if the Miss Vicky's chips, while they're not processed on a line that handles wheat, are processed on a line that handles barley.

Anyone have any thoughts (including a way to get through to a human being at Frito Lays to ask this question)?

Thanks,

Richard Paul
