Product Review from www.glutenfreeinspired.com<http://www.glutenfreeinspired.com>
If you are a gluten-free eater like me, you have gotten used to the idea that some gluten-free products just don’t taste like the real glutinous food
they are trying to replace. For example, I have not found an oreo cookiethat tastes like the real thing, nor have I found a nice crusty Italian
bread that tastes like my favorite Cibatta. With a gluten-free lifestyle, I
= have gotten used to saying, “This product is about the closest I have
come to tasting the real thing.

This is not the case with Cal Coffee Cake Bake Mix. As I mentioned in = my
previous post, while visiting Good Health in Quincy, Massachusetts, I picked up a package of Cal Coffee Cake Bake Mix. The cashier at the check-out couldn’t say better things about the line of baking mixes when he
saw me making my purchase. I knew I was in for a treat, but I didn’t
know= how big that treat would be.

Cal Coffee Cake Mix is gluten, dairy, casein, and nut free. All of theproducts are made in a dedicated gluten and casein free facility. They also
do not process nut products in their facility. This coffee cake mix couldnt
be easier to prepare. I guess that’s the purpose of bake mixes have to
stop working so hard in the kitchen and start buying more mixe

Cals Coffee Cake Mix is the real thing. It might look a little differen= t
because it is not a white-colored cake with streuseling in the middle of
the cake but it has exactly the same taste as glutinous coffee cakes I havetasted in my lifetime. The true test is when you get great feedback from
friends and family who are not on a gluten-free diet. When they tell you they can’t taste the difference, you know you have purchased a good
product.

My hat goes off to Carolyn Shannon for creating such a tasty gluten-free treat. I look forward to trying all her bake mixes!
