Can anyone tell me of any brands grits that you know to be officially
and reliably GF?

I did find some pre-made packaged grits at Trader Joe's (packed like
pre-made polenta, in a plastic chub package, that you can slice and
then fry). They were good -- but I'm looking for the type you can
make on the stove, that turn out more like a hot cereal when it's
made.

Thanks!!
