Hello,

Thank you to everyone who responded to my email asking for Orgran favorites. I got about 20 responses and here is the summary. Next to the item is the number of people who responded they liked that particular product. By far the most popular item is the Muesli. 5 out of the 20 responders were enthusiastic about the muesli. I am looking forward to trying it! The rice and corn pastas are also pretty popular. Some of the specific comments are included below. Again thanks for the feedback!

Michelle

Muesli 5
Rice & Corn Pastas 4
Crackers 1
Custard Sauce 1 (great for making triffle)
Animal Cookies 1
Molasses Licorice Candy 2
Bread Mix 1
Canned Spaghetti 3
Bread Crumbs 2
Buckwheat Pasta Spirals
Crispbreads 1 -- someone suggested grinding them in the food processor for GF crumbs

I like Orgran's Molasses Licorice - tastes like non GF black licorice - lots of flavour
and nice chewy texture. It is the only GF black licorice that tastes like "the real thing"
that I have found.

Tried an Orgran Apricot bar today - it was only "O.K" - wouldn't buy it again. I was
expecting something a little more fruity and chewy in texture - it reminded me of a fig newton with
an apricot filling

We love Orgran's rice and millet pasta. It reminds me of the taste of
regular-gluten egg noodles. You just have to be really careful when cooking
though because it goes quickly from being too firm to being too soft

I highly recommend their mixed rice and corn pastas. The combination of
rice and corn comes as close to the pasta flavor we WERE used to, (ie
wheat). It comes in many shapes. I buy it from Amazon.com. by the case.
The cheapest I have found. It keeps well. After having it, rice alone
pasta is so bland.

Yes, I use many of their pastas, which are good. I think there stuff
is better than many other brands

I'm a huge fan of their GF bread crumbs. They are unseasoned, so you need to add your own seasoning. The consistency is great

We have used their canned pasta and sauce. It is kind of like spagettio's to me taste wise and it's also skimpy on the pasta. But my son thinks its just fine. I think it only comes in the small cans so we only get it for travel or special snacks. Amazon.com sells it.
