Sorry for the delay in summarizing.

I found Ontario to not be very celiac friendly. My hotel, the Hilton, was
not accommodating and a water main break during my stay did not help matters
either. I had to send my meal back twice at the Swiss Chalet with obvious
bread/gluten products on my plate. The Jubilee Kafe was only open for lunch
and I was not able to try it. The only place that did a good job on my meal
was a high-end steakhouse near the Galleria but I cannot remember the name.
I ate lots of snack bars.

Below are the responses I received:

Swiss Chalet is a chain in Ontario. Ask for their nutrition/allergy guide
and you will get a list of gluten-free items.

There are a number of health-food stores in London and I had a lot of luck
shopping in "normal" supermarkets while there in the summer of 2006.

Actually, I first found gluten-free wraps at a Loblaw's

http://www.loblaws.ca/ <http://www.loblaws.ca/ in London.

There is an Outback Steakhouse on 765 Exeter Road. You can ask for a
gluten-free menu there.

I did also did a quick internet search and found Jubilee Kafe, which appears
to be a gluten-free bakery. Here is the link:

The Canadian Celiac Association has a chapter in London. You can find the
contact information by going to www.celiac.ca and clicking on "Chapters" and
then "Ontario".

My daughter has put together a website with gf dining places and bakeries
that specify gluten-free items in Ontario.
