Thank you for taking the time to contact Baldwin Richardson Foods
regarding our brand of retail toppings.
Regarding our brand of Mrs. Richardson's Hot Fudge topping, and whether
or not the modified starch has wheat or barley in it. According to our
supplier of the modified starch, the food starches supplied typically
have a protein content of less than 05%. Most of the protein content
of corn and tapioca is removed in the refining process and is sold as a
by-product
Again, we thank you for taking the time to inquire about our products.
Best regards,
Susan Sullivan
