I've observed an interesting phenomenon in myself through the years.  For one to three days just preceding a viral infection such as cold or flu, I ALWAYS feel so good & energetic I'm positively euphoric!  Have any of you noticed the same thing in yourself?  Any theories to explain why this may be so?  I have a kooky theory which I'll share in summary.
