We have gotten into a rut on what we eat and I am trying to find new options
in the fast food world for summer travels.
I am finding the nutrition lists on these websites somewhat difficult these
days. I love it when a food chain will make an actual list of what is o.k!
It looks to me like the fries, tendergrill salad and garden salad, shakes,
and applesauce are about all the choices at Burger King. I would be
interested in knowing if people out there have eaten these items
successfully and/or if there are other meal options that I missed.
At Mcdonald's, we are able to eat the burger patties, mcflurries, salads,
fries and Hashbrowns without problems ( clean blood tests, etc). I am
wondering if the declaration on the grilled chicken is a similar issue as
that with the fries - ie: there is an extremely minute bit of wheat involved
somewhere up the chain, but the new policy is to declare it as a wheat
derivative even though gluten is not present in the end product. Any other
suggestions on meals at mcdonald's?
Thanks for sharing your experience,
Becky in Texas
