Hello everyone,

I just had to share information on a product I found yesterday at Hungarian Kosher, a Kosher supermarket in Skokie, IL (northwest corner of Crawford & Oakton). While I was looking around, I saw some gluten free cookies by Leiber's (love those) and a new to me brand - Hoffner's. I bought a box of Hoffner's Mini Coconut Cookies - small chocolate and coconut cookies. I opened it and had a few and it finally hit me what the taste reminded me of - Girl Scout Samoas which I used to love.

Con - the price, the 7-oz box was $5.39. Pros: This company is apparently very knowledgeable. Part of the Hoffner's logo are the words "Fine Gluten Free Products." The packaging is also clearly labeled gluten free in large letters and next to that is a circle that has the words "0% gluten, 100% taste" inside of it. They're also pareve (no dairy) and OU hechshured (the Orthodox Union Kosher certification).

Here's a link to their website - www.hoffnersglutenfree.com

I have no financial interest, I'm just a satisfied customer.
Lisa
