Hi Everyone,

We stopped at Wendy's yesterday for lunch and received a flyer that says that they are removing their Taco Supremo salad, Spring Mix salad, and Homestyle Chicken Strips salad from their menu.

They will be replaced by the Southwest Taco salad, Spinach Chicken salad, and Classic Chicken Caesar salad. Of these three new salads, only the Southwest Taco Salad is gluten free per my phone call to Wendys today at 614-764-3100.

The rep told me that they are changing the taco chips and adding a dressing to the Southwest Taco salad, but it will still contain their chili, tomatoes, greens, cheese, and sour cream.

I also asked her to pass along a suggestion/request that they consider replacing their grilled chicken with one that does not contain wheat starch or soy sauce and is gluten free so that we have some other choices. She assured me that she would pass the request along.

Hope this is helpful,
Barbara in Missouri
