Okay, so I received a couple emails after my last post in which I questioned the modified food starch in the dressing at a restaurant....

So, MFS is corn unless identified otherwise in North America is what I am figuring out. Yes?

The new label laws require identification of source. But, does this apply to bulk items for restaurant use? This is what I am having trouble clearing up. This particular bulk container did not identify the starch source and had no allergy statement...

Anyone have info? Beth

(Will summarize after I do the summary for my last big response post which generated 27 emails with TONS of information!!)

Also - does anyone have a solution to getting rid of all of the extra characters in the posts except using a non-web browser email program? This has not been an issue on any other listserv I have used.
