Just wanted to let the group know of my good experiences at 3 particular
restaurants in philadelphia. although none actually had gf annotated menus, the
wait staffs and the chefs were familiar with and happy to accommodate the
celiac restrictions. i gave them my 'restaurant card' for which they thanked me
for thinking ahead.

Panorama- located near the historic district
Mandoline- 213 Chestnut St in the Old City area
Matyson- in Center City-37 South 19th St.

Have fun in Philadelphia, and if you are going soon, enjoy the 'Body
Worlds' exhibit at the Franklin Institute (not if you are pregnant though), as well
as the Ben Franklin exhibit at Independence Center, and a wonderful 'In
Private Hands' exhibit at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.

Marlene
