I would like to know if anyone has an article or knows of a website that
specifically talks about the diseases, cancers, etc linked to undiagnosed Celiac.
I was asymptotic until about 2 months prior to being diagnosed which was
about 4 years ago. It's funny, now if I accidentally ingest some gluten, I feel
it almost immediately in my head. Without getting too graphic, my stomach
issues aren't that bad, but they are definitely noticeable.

My sister was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes about 6 years or so ago around
age 40. I finally persuaded her to be tested for celiac last winter. She got
tested and tested positive. She is totally asymptotic. I'm not a poster
child for Celiacs, but she doesn't even pretend to follow a celiac diet. She eats
sandwiches, Chinese food (what I would do for Chinese food!!!) etc. without a
care in the world. I don't want to make this an argument every time I see
her, but I would like to be able to send her something that talks about the
hazards of not following the diet.

If you have any links, or suggestions, I would appreciate it. I'm not buying
her a book, she'll never read that...

Thanks!
