Below is a list of responses I got in reference to my question about Gluten Free Lozenges.
Halls Sugar Free Honey Lemon are the only Halls cough products that are GF.
I use Acerola Cherry that I purchase at Good Nature Health Food Store in Matawan.
Zand
2 people said Halls sugar free are GF. But the regular ones are not GF, so be sure to get the sugar free ones.
Robitussin products are GF
There are several cough drops that are gf, but I haven't checked recently but I did want to tell you about the one that I liked after trying two or three different kinds. A lady at a sjogren meeting told me about Ricola and she gave me a sample. When I contacted the co. to see if they were gf, they mailed me a brown envelope with samples of several different kinds of the ones that they sell.
Here is a listing of some of the ones that she mailed to me: Mountain Herbs (swiss herb throat drops) also sugar free; Natural herb cough drops (cough suppressant); Natural lemon mint (Herb throat drops) and breath mints (peppermint and wintergreen). You can buy these at walmart.
I can't remember the other two that I tried, but one that I purchased was Hall's which, at that
time was gf; but that was about two yrs. ago

I went to the Ricola web site and found this.
Are your products gluten-free?
In the United States, there are no established government standards as to what can be considered gluten-free or what is safe for use in celiac patients. Our products contain less than 0.01% gluten. We urge you to share this information with your doctor or to contact the Celiac Sprue Association of the USA @1-877-CSA-4CSA.
