They have done an excellent job of educating restaurants which have gf selections.

There is a nice GF restaurant program:  FRAP.  To see the list of these restaurant, go to the Delphi CD Support Group:  http://forums.delphiforums.com/celiac/start. Owner Anthony makes you feel very safe.  Italian restaurant recommended for its great food wonderful ambiance, friendly staff and great value. They offer a variety of appetizers, salads,
chicken dishes, and seafood that can all be prepared GF.  He can coordinate with happyhappyhappy for GF desserts (not sure if you have to call ahead for that).

From The Washington Post (4/05): Office workers consider it the takeout restaurant of choice, but there's also sit-down service at stools overlooking the kitchen and in a long narrow dining room....Most customers come for the fish, supplied by Coast owner Eric Tevrow's Early Morning Seafood company, and it's easy to see why, as we were tempted by the lobster
roll, New England clam chowder and the oysters." Yup, you can get gf clam chowder at Coast.

Coast is a NYC fish house and  gourmet market serving fresh grilled seafood and American
comfort foods, and a Raw Bar.  A large portion of the menu is GF, from the clam chowder to the fresh grilled market fish. Be sure to save room for the creamy cheese cake!
