I have become more sensitive to what my body likes and dislikes since
becoming GF 7 months ago. I strongly suspect a problem with dairy. I don't
have cramping or any gastro distress at all that I've noticed, but when I
eat dairy such as sour cream or cheese, my sinuses fill up and my ears feel
plugged within minutes. I usually have to blow my nose a few times after
eating cheese. Luckily, the small amount of milk I use in my tea doesn't
seem to bother me.
The thing that stinks is - I love cheese! Plus I'm pregnant, and all I dream
about for lunch is nachos with cheese and sour cream! My son(2) is GFCF and
I don't like the fake cheese he eats (Tofutti). I wish I could stomach it.
Does anyone else have this reaction to dairy? Do I need to banish it forever
like gluten, or can I have a little taste on special occasions?
Thanks!
