After I ingest wheat, the next day (especially in the morning before I
sit up) I have a sensation of bubbles rising in my neck, right at the
junction of the spinal chord and head. Does anyone know what it is?
I have not been formally diagnosed with Celiac or Gluten Intolerance,
but seven years ago I was having aching/numbness in my feet and hands
and some weird vision problems--saw several doctors, even had an MRI
for MS, but nothing was found. Finally my masseuse, of all people,
suggested giving up wheat. After 3-4 months the symptoms were
completely gone (and I'd had them more than a year). Our family seems
to have a lot of autoimmune anomalies: my mother has transverse
myelitis (similar to MS) and Paget's, I have lichen planus and
endometriosis.
I will post the compiled responses.
