Hi all,

I spoke to the nicest man from Farmer John’s. I’m
sorry I didn’t catch his name, but he was the first
person to pick up the phone in the customer
service/relations department.

He knew all about Celiac, I didn’t have to explain a
thing. He knew about soy sauce and Kikoman’s statement
that their soy sauce is ok because the wheat is
processed out. He knew my response would be
“whatever”.

All of Farmer John’s products are gluten free except
the following items:
1). bacon, 2). bone in ham and 3). 1 lb. package
sliced ham. These three items are processed with soy
sauce (Kikomans to be exact). He did not recommend
them for people with Celiac, although he said whether
or not one eats Kikomans can be a personal decision.

Everything else is gluten free including the
California Natural extra lean ground pork. The
“natural flavorings” are only natural whole sage.

I inquired about where their products are available,
as I have not seen them mentioned here, or on any of
the large lists that I have. If I understood
correctly, you can surely purchase Farmer Johns in
southern California and Las Vegas. Other areas that
may have products are northern California, Phoenix and
areas of the Pacific Northwest.

I have no financial interest in this company. I was
just looking for a gluten free, MSG free pork sausage.
Now I’m going to use some in the Chebe calzones that I
make up for travel and eat cold (if I have to).
