Well, it looks like we collectively have no experience with how a GF diet might affect a transplant patient.  I received only two responses to my question, one person speculated, as I do, that the GF diet might affect the transplanted organ by altering the overall function of the immune system.  The other advised relying on the doctor.

I can't find anything in the research literature either.
