I knew I would get more responses once I summarized! :-)

I got these two and I felt that I needed to share them to help make your own decisions.

1. We went to a luau last year on Oahu. My husband always scours the food and ask questions for me (it's his mission and he has restaurant experience) I was able to eat a nice sampling and didn't go starving. If anything, bring a small snack, but don't miss the show or the experience. It's too far to go and not do what they are know for and miss it.

2. Wheat and barley are not native to Hawaii, so just don't eat the bread.
