The response to my query regarding travel in Mongolia received a predictably small number of inputs.
1 advised learning about native foods before departure, including local recipes
1 advised suggested that in Ethiopia teff is often contaminated during the grinding process
1 reported no problems eating teff pancakes (injera) for a week; but reported that the teff can often be supplemented with wheat flour
1 reported similar experiences with CD triggered by infection in Central America.
For my own part it seems that my CD diagnosis, following an infection picked up in Mali, is uncertain. I am back on a normal diet, seemingly with no ill affects. I will report on my Mongolia experiences on return.
Thanks to all for their inputs.
Tony.
