Hello there;

I received about 75 responses to this post:

1) Most said I had read the recipe wrong by doubling the butter (you were
right)

2) Many said to include at least 1/2 tsp xantham gum PER cup GF flour

3) Many said to refrigerate cookie dough 1 hour before baking

4) Many said do 1/2 butter and 1/2 crisco (NON-butter flavored) mix instead
of all butter

5) Many said they use ALL crisco sticks in place of butter

6) Some said NEVER to use tub margarine since it contains too much water
and will flatten the cookie

Thank You to all who took the time to send your tried and true recipe's.  I
have saved them all in a folder, and plan on making some yummy cookies for
my daughter tomorrow !
