Hi all,
I'm curious what experiences you have had w/capsules of meds as opposed to
tablets. I recently got an rx filled, received a new generic brand and within
2-3 minutes of taking each dose was having major problems. I have laxed in
checking Rx's since I have never actually come across one that contains any form
of gluten. Anyway, with my tail between my legs, I called the pharmacy. They
checked the insert, no gluten. They called the company, no gluten. BUT when
I spoke with the managing pharmacist about what to do, he said that he
doesn't believe that any company can gaurantee that capsules are gluten free, and he
was contacting my physician to request brand neccesary tablets which can
actually be trusted as GF sources. Anyone else have this experience?
