Hello Listmates,

I will be back east on vacation and I'm thinking of driving up to Montreal
to get myself some of that new gf beer. I was wondering if anyone had
experience with bringing back alcohol for personal use and how much I
might expect to pay in terms of duty, and also if anyone had any problems
with US state restrictions on how much you could bring back for personal
use. Clearly I can't bring back much more than a case, since I have to get
it home to California, and I think there are some crazy laws about mailing
alcohol, which leaves me with carrying it on the plane. Any advice would
be appreciated.
