Howdy all

I am one of those GF gals who is not diagnosed celiac, had negative biopsy,
and positive IgG but not the others. I took Dr. Fine's stool and
malabsorption tests which were positive.

Here is the problem, my symtpoms are not diahrea, etc and sometimes I have
no idea what does and does not bother me. I have been GF for 3 months and I
am not a whole lot better. I certainly did not feel any big change. I also
have been mostly avoiding dairy, soy and corn.

I have very comlicated health history with a severe balance disorder (NOT
deficient in b12 and not anemic)...and many other severe chronic illness's
which are non diagnosed. I feel horrid 99% of the time and need a walker
and cane to get around at all.

My question is this: It really would help me to know if I did have celiac
or just sensitivity. If I went GF and felt better it would be a no
brainer..but that is not the case. My docs mostly think I am faking all my
illness's and it is hard (after 20 years of horrid health) to have anyone
take me seriously. I want to know if I have celiac because I may have more
hope that it is leading to other illness's, not that they are all random.

If you were to take Dr. Fine's gene test and it came back positive, would
you feel pretty comfortable thinking you had celiac..or would have it
eventually...and secondly...if it came back negative for the gene, would
you assume you do not have celiac?

While I appreciate all responsed, I would rather not be bombarded with the
ol "JUST STAY GF AND THAT IS BEST WAY TO TELL". I understand this and will
stay GF, but I have other reasons for wanting to know if I have this
disease....any help>???? Would you do this test and what would it mean to
you????

Thanks so very much.
