I bought a packet of Brown Gravy Mix made by Mayacamas Fine Foods. On the
front it says gluten free. When I checked the ingredients it says "gluten free"
above the ingredients, but one of the ingredients is hydrolyzed wheat* and
below it says *Gluten removed/Elisa tested. I'm confused. How can something
from wheat be gluten free and how do they remove gluten? If anyone has used this
brand of gravy mix, please let me know.
Thanks, Amy G, Chicago IL USA
