Dear Celiacs,
In answer to my question below, I received a number of excellent responses.
My daughter is going to the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Belgium and France in
August and I would like to find as many gluten free restaurants and stores
that I can for her convenience.
Here they are:
I would suggest you to ask your questions at this other excellent GF forum:
http://forums.delphiforums.com/celiac/messages
There are kind and knowledgeable people there, including doctors with CD,
and an extensive GF product list.
Moreover, I have voluntarily posted over thousand of GF recipes too.
Here are some contacts...maybe they'll be able to help with shopping info.,
etc.

**********************************************I was in Paris in November
2002, and found a great chain of health food stores that sell wonderful GF
food! They are called La Vie Claire, and are located all over the city --
you can probably find the street addresses on the web. Just ask for
"produits sans gluten" and they will help you. I particularly liked the
Valpiform Pain Champagnard (5 large slices of country style bread with
great texture and crust), and GlutaBye Delicieux framboise (individually
wrapped flaky pastry with jam). Also, the local fruit and vegetable
markets have nice stuff (also street markets) -- baby vegetables, etc. Try
the website
<http://www.bio.cospro.com/Paris.html>http://www.bio.cospro.com/Paris.html
for a list (with street addresses) of health food stores and vegetarian
restaurants, etc.) Email me if you have other questions -- I love Paris and
would be happy to help.
Thank you again very much for the information!
All the best,
Susan
