Hi again! My summary and thanks to all of you. I have attempted to
extrapolate the most meaningful comments from your responses.
1. Acidophilus is for digestion/ L-Glutamine (L-G) is to promote healing.
The acidophilus compensates for the damaged intestinal flora to grow and
sustain itself. L-G is the principal amino acid needed for the repair of the
damaged gut.
2. One of the primary causes of the damaged gut is yeast which buries
through the walls of the intestine giving other foods and toxins to the blood.
3. Take one probiotics complex(supersonice jet) with L'G with each meal.
(Acidophilus is a vw by comparison.) L-G makes the body utilize the probiotics
better. You'll feel better in a few days and will be healed within 6 months.
4. Take one acidophilus tablet one half hour before eating and 500 mg of L-G
morning and night.
5. Mother definitely advocates a probiotic from www.natren.com.
And the good news from all this is that I can now spell acidophilus! I hope
you recognized your sage advice in this if you responded and thank you again
for the clarification. Barb
