Hi everyone,

Thanks to those who responded as to what can be substituted for Tums. Here
is the summary and the response I received to the e-mail I sent to the
manufacturer.

1 check my diet
1 Arm & Hammer (directions on the box)
1 Prevacid
3 Gaviscon
2 Rolaids
1 Liquid Pepto Bismal

We have received your e-mail on the Tums website with your question regarding
Tums and gluten.

While we do not use gluten as a filler in Tums, certain vendor-supplied
ingredients may contain trace amounts of gluten. Therefore, we cannot say
with 100% certainty that Tums is gluten free.

We appreciate your taking the time to contact us and hope that you found our
website to be helpful.

Sincerely,

Julie

" So what do we do? Do we use Tums or don't we?" My problem is that I do
not get any of the symptoms after ingesting gluten so I would't know if it
was harmful to me.
