Tammy has assured me that the Riverside brand turkeys (distributed by Cargill) are gf. I still do not know what may be in the broth, though (need to avoid yeast and yeast extracts and don't know if they necessarily appear on the label if they are in something like the broth). Her message follows.

Hello!  I'm sorry it's taken such a long time to get back to you.  I did hear from our R&D Department who happily informed me that yes, they Riverside turkeys are truly MSG and gluten free!  However, I was wrong regarding the flavorings.  The flavoring is capsicum, which is extracted from peppers.

Also, we do not use flour on the conveyor belts or MSG in any of our products.
