I was diagnosed with celiac disease (strange with a last name like Wheaton,
do you think the Universe was trying to tell me something) in January with
blood test and diagnosed confirmed in February after an endoscopy. I have
been on a gf diet since January and have been having some very strange side
effects. I was finally tested for celiac because I was extremely anemic, I
never experienced gastro problems (at least not in the last few
years). However, since going gf I have since been experiencing gastro
problems, I have also noticed that my face is breaking out. Is this due to
a detox from gluten? Has anyone else experienced this? What's up? On the
positive side I can't remember feeling this good - more energy, more calm,
less depression, less muddy thought process. Life is good. Any assistance
would be greatly appreciated.
