Hi All
The summary from my posting of "finding" Massel bouillion cubes that are
gluten, lactose & preservative free are as follows: first I must apologize
for being remiss in not listing where I found these - it was at an H.E.B.
store in south Texas. Now for the summary: a gal from Australia wrote she
uses them all the time, they're great & adds a lot of flavouring to your
cooking>>>>someone suggested that energy foods bouillion cubes are great,
they're called veggie bouquet, >>>>>one person's reply said " yes & no"
problems, she found them in an ethnic store because they're also "hallal"
(sorry, I don't know what that means)>>>>>>another gal from Australia (now
residing in U.S.A.)also uses them, has them sent to her all the time, same
Co. also makes excellent gravy mixes too>>>>>>>>>>yet, another very satisfied
Australian's reply said his wife is very gluten sensitive & has never had a
problem. Massel has a web site - www.massel.com.au/australia/index,htm>>>>>
finally, another Australian message stating that it's the only "stock" cube
she uses, also sites she makes a great leek & potato soup, using 2 cubes, 1
leek & 2 potatoes. I had received other queries that I answered individually
as they pertained to where I was from, as having mentioned at the onset of
this message I neglected to add. Thanks to all who replied, most
informative, & now I'll go out & buy the beef & vegetable cubes too !!!
