The Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG) Monthly Gathering is held every Third
Thursday of each Month (except for June).

GIG Gatherings are open to all interested persons. Educational materials and
products are available at all Gatherings. Topics of discussion are planned
for each Gathering and the topic for the August 16, 2001, Gathering is
Associated Disorders.

The Gathering is held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at:

Overlake Medical Center
Cafeteria Meeting Rooms A and B
Bellevue, WA

Dr. Peter S. Hartwell will be the Guest Speaker at the August 16, 2001,
Gathering.

Dr. Hartwell spoke at GIG's 2001 Annual Education Conference. He received his
degree from the University of Chicago and did his internship at Virginia
Mason in Seattle, as well as his residency and fellowship at the University
of Washington. He is currently in private practice in Gastroenterology and
Hepatology in Burien. Dr. Hartwell (and his office) has enthusiastically
embraced GIG and Celiac Disease awareness and screening.
