In response to the replies about the ingredients in this recipe:

The Geocites site lists at least three brands of Taco Seasoning that are GF.
  In the Flavorings page, McCormick Taco Seasoning is listed, and on the
Mexican page Ortega Taco Seasoning and Dry Mix Taco Seasoning are listed.  I
have not tried any of these since my husband was diagnosed 6 weeks ago, but
I bought some Ortega and plan to try it the next time I need Taco Seasoning.
  I have made my own using the recipe below:

As for the peach preserves or apricot preserves, Smuckers brand is listed on
the Syrups and Jellies page of the same website as GF.  I prefer their
Simply Fruit spreads over preserves and generally use those.
