Many celiacs can eat rice, but I cannot. I note with interest that
enriched rice has barley sprayed on it. Does anyone know what makes
jasmine rice "jasmine"? We have bought jasmine rice from Thailand in
bulk, from a Chinese market here. I ate for quite some time and loved
it, then realized it was making me sick (as well as put weight on me).
So now I want to know, is the aroma/perfume added or is it part of the
rice species?

Laurie
