Hi group

I just had to write this to the whole group again because so many of you
have sent me such wonderfully supportive letters this past couple of
days. I can not begin to express how much your support means to me at
this moment. Thank you all so much.

I have been on gluten for six days now and am really starting to feel
the effects of the gluten. What I believe is Dermatitis Herpetiformis
has really been acting up since two days after returning to my old diet
and is driving me insane! I went to see my doctor about it as he had
never seen my rash before and figured that now that he could see it, he
would believe me. No way; I was shocked. He said," it looks like Contact
Dermatitis"?!? On my face, neck, scalp, hands, shoulders and legs? I
have been having this specific rash for nine years now, sometimes it
stays for eight months at a time.

I am certain that it is Dermatitis Herpetiformis from everything that I
have read about it but now I am wondering. Is it possible? Could it be
something else? Or is my doctor crazy? Could some of you that have DH
tell me a bit about your own experiences with it, what it looks like,
feels like, where you have it on your body? I can't seem to find a
decent picture of it on the net anywhere. I would really appreciate any
feedback that you may have on this subject.

Thank you in advance
