In her summary "women & celiac" Jan quoted the below from me:

I feel the need, since I was the one who told her this, to be sure that you
and the list understand what I meant.  :-)

What I meant to imply was that when I had terrible minstral cramping with
diarrhea, that taking the ibuprofen as well as curing the cramps also cured
the diarrhea.  HOWEVER, I believe that this was a side effect.  Perhaps, as
was also mentioned, this was of benefit because the cramping which
stimulated the diarrhea in the first place was then controlled.

Sorry Jan if I was unclear before, but I would hate for people to start
popping ibuprofen to help their celiac caused diarrhea!  I don't think it
would be helpful and could be detrimental in that instance.
