Fiftysomething-Women is ~the~ original list for women who have reached age 55. We encourage enthusiastic, feisty women who refuse to be limited by age, expectations or conventions, to join. This forum, hopefully, will facilitate socializing with other wise, capable, creative, caring, experienced, energetic, funny, perceptive thoughtful, and even rebellious, women around the world. It doesn't matter what you are: you may be an artist, bookkeeper, writer, politician, gardener, teacher, musician, homemaker, student, retired; mother, grandmother, great-grandmother or single. Any woman in her fifties, sixties or seventies, and beyond is welcome. We even have those in their 40s - but all are young at heart and are leading full lives, in spite of workload, lifestyle or limitations. Commonalities are: enjoyment of people, love of learning and generosity of spirit. Age is a handicap only if one makes it so.
