To make NetScape ask that question, I have always had to tell MS Internet Explorer, (in it's settings), to always check if IT is the default browser. That seems to start a sort of tug of war to re-set "what ever you launch" to ask again (if you have switched to "the other one"). The only time this methode seems toneed a "workaround" is when you have mutiple versions of NetScape (and/or?) Interner Explorer... THEN you must switch BRANDS to change from one NetScape to another NetScape. (Switch to MSIE in between...)
