Hi,

I've been seriously thinking about this issue. Although personally, I
would never consider it. It's all a question of balance. Do we want to
keep someone who can't think, speak, move, alive just to satisfy our need
to be needed? What about people who have terminal illnesses who are in
constant pain and have only 2 months to live? Should we make them suffer
just because we don't want to be without them?

On the other hand, people who don't have a terminal illness shouldn't
even have that option. They should receive counseling and be informed
about the different options that are available to them.
