Hello List , When I wrote the first time after reading what Robert wrote I "thought" his e-mail had been put in with my question , sorry for the missundertsanding . OK I was really wanting to know how you can tell how much ram you are using at any given time ? Robert said he was using 39 mb , where or how do you find this out . Yes I know about system monitor an the resource meter . The only numbers that I can see are percentages , so is this done with a utility ? Thanks alot for any info. Hello List , I've also got the same kind of problem at times , my question is how can you tell how much your using at any given time ? I've got Win95 on a 233 MMX / with 64 MB PC100 SDRAM DIMM . TIA Pete Robert Ryder wrote: > I've had a problem ever since I installed windows98. If I have only Explorer and systray running at startup Windows is still using 39mbs of Ram. I went through all of the troubleshooting procedures but, I gained no significant Ram. I currently have 64mbs of pc100 ram installed and I'm going to put in another 64. I would still like to know how to reduce the power consumption by Windows. Any ideas? > Bob Ryder > PCSOFT's List Owner's: Bob Wright<[log in to unmask]> Drew Dunn<[log in to unmask]>
