I want to back up my mail folders. Using Outlook Express 5 (OE5) as my email client, I find that all of my email folders take the path to \Outlook Express* (see below). I'm not even sure if that's where they should have ended up. C:\Windows \ehundrieser \Application Data \Identities \{16579F00-BE-83-11D2-AE58-BA36FFBE7C7C} \Microsoft \Outlook Express* These folders were initially created in Netscape 4.5, then exported/imported to OE5 after its release earlier this year. Why do my folders in OE5 end in a .dbx filename? In vain, I've tried searching for what .dbx stands for. I thought that OE5's mail folders ended in .mbx and .idx. What happened? Did I mess up importing these folders from Netscape, if so, do I first need the correct file extensions to back up?
